Havva Yoruk, MSW, LMSW, LCSW completed the Training for Adoption Competency (TAC) program in 2019. Havva is currently a Clinical Therapist at Mindful Psychology PLLC  in New York. Havva currently serves the Rochester, New York area, as well as the states of New York and Missouri. Havva’s area of specialization is those who have experienced developmental trauma, particularly foster and adoptive families. She has received the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT) Phase I training, Training for Adoption Competency (TAC) and Attachment, Regulation and Competency (ARC) Trauma Treatment for Children & Adolescents and is a certified ACT Raising Safe Kids Program trainer through the APA. Havva enjoys supporting individuals who are seeking relief from anxiety, depression, the difficulties of life transitions and adjustment, grief, stress, trauma, and building self-esteem. She has a special interest in teens, college students, adults of any age, immigrants and minorities, those from marginalized groups, adoptive families and families of medical professionals. Mindful Psychology PLLC currently accepts private pay, credit/debit card, HSA and can provide superbill. At this time all sessions are held virtually.
