Camillia Whitehead, MSW, LCSW-C is the Director of Clinical Services and has over 20 years of experience providing mental health and substance abuse treatment services for vulnerable populations. She has extensive experience providing therapy to children and teens with emotional and behavioral challenges resulting from significant neglect, physical and sexual trauma, as well as grief and loss.

With an expertise in maternal substance use and substance exposed newborns, Camillia has supported many birth and adoptive families in navigating the emotional and legal complexities with hospital adoption plans. She has adoption competent training and has provided therapy for international and domestic adoptive families.

Camillia has a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Morgan State University and a Master’s Degree from the University of Maryland School of Social Work. She is a board certified Clinical Supervisor.

In her previous role as a healthcare administrator and member of the ethics consult committee, she identified and addressed many disparities in healthcare. She is also a member of several state led committees serving vulnerable children.

She provides clinical and administrative supervision to the C.A.S.E. Clinical Team and is the Agency Coordinator for the Social Work Field Instruction Program.
