VA & MD FAMILIES: NTDC: Core Topics in Adoption, Foster, and Kinship Care

NPAC is excited to announce its third NTDC parent cohort starting in April 2026!

This will be a wonderful, supportive group of adoptive parents and kinship caregivers. This cohort will be open to all adoptive and KinGAP families in the Northern region of Virginia and the state of Maryland. The group will run for 7 consecutive weeks.

The National Training and Development Curriculum, or NTDC, is a robust curriculum developed by C.A.S.E. and several nationwide partners to meet a wide range of needs faced by foster and adoptive families.

WHEN: Tuesday, April 7, 2026 from 6:30pm – 8:00pm EST

Register by Sunday, April 5, 2026.

Families are eligible for this event and NPAC and MDPA services if they reside in the Northern region of Virginia or state of Maryland and are one of the following:

• A family with a finalized adoption (or a signed APA*) of a youth between the ages of 0 to 18 years; families with young adults under 21 may be eligible
• KinGAP families
• State-funded subsidy families

This opportunity is offered at no cost to families in Virginia through our partnership with the Virginia Department of Social Services, and to families in Maryland thanks to the generous support of the Center for Adoption Support and Education (C.A.S.E.).
