Adolescence is a tumultuous time and being adopted adds another layer of complexity. C.A.S.E. is excited to offer a FREE virtual 6-week group for high school aged teens (grades 9th-12th) who reside in Maryland to focus on connecting with other adopted teens, promoting identification as an adoptee, providing a safe space to share feelings and thoughts about their adoption experience and supporting their exploration of identity.
This High School Teen Adoptee Identity Support Group will meet on Zoom starting Monday, October 6, 2025 at 6:00 – 7:30pm EST and will continue to meet for 6 consecutive weeks on Mondays at 6:00 – 7:30pm EST.
Additional Meeting Dates: 10/13/2025, 10/20/2025, 10/27/2025, 11/3/2025, 11/10/2025
This is one of our most popular, in-demand groups. We encourage you to register now as space is limited!
NOTE: There will be a one hour virtual pre-assessment on Zoom 2-3 weeks before the group begins. The group’s facilitators will reach out to registrants to schedule the pre-assessment. Parent(s) are asked to join for part of the pre-assessment.
This group is provided at no cost thanks to the Post-Adoption Education and Mental Health Services Grant funded by Maryland Department of Human Services – Social Services Administration (DHS/SSA).
