Please join C.A.S.E. and the Northern Post-Adoption Consortium to chat about all things adulting for families with teens 14 and older. Shontelle Ramsay, NPAC’s MSW intern, will review some of the ins and outs and things to consider for teens, including some specific considerations for teens who are adopted. Shontelle RamsayPrior to interning with C.A.S.E., Shontelle worked at National Association on Drug Abuse Problems, located in New York City, where she provided leadership and staff oversight of the Outreach Enrollment Department. She developed and managed formal partnerships consisting of NYC Hospitals, Government Agencies, Primary Care Clinics, Health Centers, Specialty Clinics, SUD Outpatient/Inpatient Facilities, Mental Health Outpatient/Inpatient Facilities, and Criminal Justice Agencies.

Shontelle Ramsay holds a BS in Human Services from NYC College of Technology and an MPA from Metropolitan College of New York. She is currently pursuing an MSW from Walden University.

The opportunity to work with families has never presented itself to Shontelle and interning with C.A.S.E. is Shontelle’s first formal experience in the adoption, foster care, and kinship field.
