C.A.S.E. AcademyThe C.A.S.E. Academy has launched to support clinicians at every stage of their careers who are seeking to deepen their knowledge bases and skill sets to benefit their adoption-competent mental health practices! Findings from the 2025 Academy Evaluation Report clearly show promising gains for participants in both professional development and overall work satisfaction. Clinicians who want a recharged perspective and arrange time to engage with the Academy can grow professionally through:

  • Advanced Coursework – for those who have already completed NTI and TAC, the Academy continues to release brand new courses, including “Parent and Family Therapy” this November and the “Voices of Birth/First Mothers” in January!
  • Learning Cohorts – integrate learning for an entire year through collective groups with peers across the country
  • Clinical Library – the first of its kind in adoption of competent practice, the instructional videos of the Academy offer one-of-a-kind topical lessons coupled with therapy session simulations. The Developing Professionals Collection has launched eleven videos, and the new Advanced Practitioners Collection has just released its first video, “Adoption Competent Clinical Assessments with Parents.”
  • Simulation Laboratory  the Academy is currently creating therapy session simulations to practice safely and boldly with actors, learning in simulation labs allows clinicians to grow in leaps and bounds!

Evaluation of the Academy’s Comprehensive Learning Model

The first evaluation report on the Academy’s comprehensive learning model gave clear feedback showing that:

  • Satisfaction with the Academy was very high
  • Early evidence suggests skills learned are being applied to practice, which helps move toward better outcomes for children and families
  • The post-internship follow-up survey confirmed that knowledge and skills learned during the Academy are being used regularly in practice 6 months after completion
  • The most recent course offered in June 2025, “Beyond the Textbook: Incorporating the Wisdom of Lived Experience,” showed a 21-point increase across the training in pre/post test scores

Participating in the C.A.S.E. Academy will enable clinicians and systems to achieve individual and collective success, ultimately increasing job satisfaction and improving outcomes for children and families.
