This support group is for kinship caregivers, including grandparents, extended family members or close family friend, who are providing care for children. Families will be able to come together to share feelings, experience, resources, and comfort from one another. We want families to be able to connect with one another, learn new strategies and have a safe place to talk about what is on their minds and how they will be “surviving the holidays.” We want to hear from you about what has worked and what has not worked during the holidays and hope to offer some ways to manage what might be difficult. We will discuss and share tips with kinship caregivers about the importance of self‐care, and how it relates to parenting and managing stress Group will be led by Chiara Jones and Shontelle Ramsay of C.A.S.E.
