Mechele L. Pitt, BS, MSSW, LCSW (Wisconsin), LICSW (Minnesota), is the Minnesota Director of Programs at Anu Family Services and teaches as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Madison School of Social Work. She has worked in the field of child welfare since 1992 and currently serves the areas of northwestern Wisconsin and the Twin Cities Metro Area.  Her areas of clinical specialization are grief, loss and trauma, family search and engagement, permanence-driven supervision, and promoting well-being in the workplace.  She has worked with youth in residential treatment and has clinical experience in providing in-home family therapy and individual and group counseling with adolescents.
