Julia Williams is a second-year MSW student at the University of Maryland, Shady Grove. In her first year, she interned as a Vocational Counselor at Interfaith Works. Julia earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Miami with a dual-major degree in Biology and Psychology. Upon graduation, Julia completed a service year through AmeriCorps, mentoring and tutoring at-risk elementary school students in Austin, Texas. Seeking to further her non-profit experience, she worked as a Resident Services Coordinator at a low-income apartment complex, leading educational and recreational activities for children and adults.

Julia’s brother is adopted from Russia, which inspired her interest in CASE. Her spirituality is a strong motivation in helping others and would like to fulfill what feels like her “calling” through having a private therapy practice, writing books, and being a social justice activist. Julia is also a certified Life Coach through the International Association of Professions Career College.
