Courtney Powers, MA, ATR, LCMHC completed the Training for Adoption Competency (TAC) program in 2021. Courtney is currently a Clinician and Program Director at the Institute of Art Therapy in North Carolina. Courtney currently serves the North Carolina Triangle/Triad (Durham, Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Hillsborough, Greensboro, Mebane) area specializing in exceptional children, newcomer/refugee/immigrant children and adults. Courtney is also trained in general population and co-located mental health school-based provider. Institute of Art Therapy currently accepts: most BCBS, Private Pay, Medicaid.
