In many ways, C.A.S.E.’s Wendy’s Wonderful Kids Recruiter Adrienne Jubilee has been involved in child welfare for most of her life. As the sister of two adopted older brothers, she experienced both the joys and challenges of a family expansion via adoption. This led to the natural decision for Adrienne and her husband Eugene to adopt their beloved son, Elijah. Following her own adoption journey, Adrienne began her professional career in child welfare after many years of working with the developmentally disabled. She was the family advocate and placement specialist for a private adoption agency. Moving into the public sector of adoption, Adrienne became the Wendy’s Wonderful Kids Recruiter for Child and Family Services for the District of Columbia, a position she held for 6 years. Adrienne is the proud recipient of the 2015 Professional of the Year Award by the Maryland Resource Parent Association.
