Join us for the NTDC: A Deeper Dive Virtual Sessions Series!

Families in the Northern region of Virginia! This summer, we will take a deeper dive into some of the most frequently requested topics offered through NTDC. Each month, we will focus on one topic and meet for two 1-hour sessions. These FREE virtual sessions are designed with a blend of tangible information (short videos, handouts) and interactive discussion and activities.

We believe that families learn best from sharing their own lived experiences so please plan to actively participate.

Families can sign up for any or all of the following topics!

Tuesday, July 8th and 15th from 1-2 PM
Creating a Stable, Nurturing, and Safe Home Environment – These sessions are designed to help participants become aware of strategies to help children impacted by trauma and loss feel psychologically and physically safe. It also covers how to set up a home to be safe for all household members. In addition, this theme shows how the sense of safety ties to behaviors, how to set boundaries, and how to show consistency and predictability using routines and rituals.
