Strong commitment to providing education and using NTI knowledge and skills learned in practice!

All three NTI trainings made available through the agency’s learning management system:

When governments across the country began issuing stay-at-home orders to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus, many staff at Bethany Christian Services transitioned to working from home. Bethany supervisors, however, remained committed to providing continuing education opportunities for their teams. The answer to that needs was NTI’s Trainings for Child Welfare Professionals, Child Welfare Supervisors, and Mental Health Professionals, which were made available through the agency’s learning management system.

Overwhelmingly positive response:

Over the last three months, Bethany staff have started to take the NTI Training Modules, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. Staff indicate the training modules are giving them information, strategies, and tools to use in their jobs. They have expressed confidence that by completing the courses they have improved skills which will directly impact their job performance.

Bethany continues to integrate NTI training further:

As a Council on Accreditation (COA) accredited organization, Bethany started with an initial review of NTI content for alignment with the training standards required of private agency adoption programs. Many of the training requirements are addressed through the NTI modules. Due to this alignment, Bethany now requires all new staff in their private adoption programs to complete the NTI Child Welfare Professionals modules. Bethany is looking forward to identifying additional opportunities to integrate NTI training into its other programs and service lines. Learn more about NTI trainings: more about NTI trainings:
