Mental Health Therapists

The Center for Adoption Support and Education (C.A.S.E.), is seeking full-time and part-time mental health therapists independently licensed in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia to provide individual, family and group psychotherapy to foster and adopted children and their families. We are specifically looking for therapist to serve in Annandale, VA; Baltimore City, MD; Baltimore County, MD; Caroline County, MD; Frederick, MD; Harford County, MD; Prince George’s County, MD; Sterling, VA ; Washington County, MD and  Washington, DC.

We offer:

  • Flexible work hours (weekdays/ evenings / weekends)
  • Clinical Supervision (group and individual)
  • Opportunities for continuing education
  • Telehealth Certification training
  • TAC (Training for Adoption Competency) training, a nationally recognized curriculum

POSITION RESPONSIBILITES:

  1. Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy to foster and adoptive children and their families.
  2. Conduct initial psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans.
  3. Perform other duties as required.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or marriage and family counseling.
  2. Current independent clinical licensure required.
  3. 4 to 6 years clinical experience (individual, group, and/or family therapy), experience working with foster and adopted children preferred.
  4. Demonstrated understanding of loss, grief, and trauma.
  5. Experience with and commitment to providing culturally competent services with diverse client populations.

Salary ranges between 64 – 77,440K for full time positions. $40hr part-time positions.
