C.A.S.E. is thrilled to continue its partnership with the Maryland Department of Human Services to fund FREE, adoption-competent therapy services, psychiatric care, case management, and educational advocacy for adoptive, kinship, and guardianship families, both pre- and post-placement! Our services are family-based, trauma-informed, and tailored to the specific needs of each family. Services are available for all Maryland families formed by adoption, kinship care, or guardianship with a child under 18, both pre- and post-adoption or guardianship!
Thanks to our partnership with the Maryland DHS/SSA, C.A.S.E. offers free adoption-competent therapy services for adoption, kinship, and guardianship families, including:
• Individual therapy for children, youth, teens, parents, and caregivers
• Family therapy for adoptive, kinship, and guardianship families
• Counseling services both pre- and post-adoption and guardianship

Due to traumatic life experiences and compromised beginnings, many children who are adopted, who are being raised by relatives (kinship care), or have experienced foster care have higher risks for developmental, health, emotional, behavioral, and academic challenges.
