Thank you to the 141 parents/caregivers and 118 children and teens who spent the day celebrating with C.A.S.E. and other adoptive families. Photos will be posted soon.
This year’s KAN conference focuses on clarifying and amplifying our voices and strengthening communication with our families and communities. We will explore the challenges adoptees face in sharing their stories and explore a variety of forms of creative self-expression including music, art, movement and story-telling.
Performers from Rythmaya Dance will lead the children and teens in an interactive movement workshop. Rythmaya’s interactive dance lessons with people of all ages brings out the best of Indian culture, combined with current soundtracks of R&B and hip hop to create a celebration of music, art and movement. Please have your children and teens wear comfortable clothing and shoes they can move in easily. Flip-flops or boots are not recommended.
