Hands of a team piled together

C.A.S.E. Volunteer Interest Form

Baltimore Advisory Committee

Candidates must live or work in Baltimore City or County. Members meet quarterly to guide C.A.S.E.’s expansion to better serve Baltimore area families through offices in Towson and Baltimore. Members make introductions to area stakeholders and participate in outreach and fundraising events.

Board of Directors

Candidates must live or work in Washington, D.C., Maryland, or Virginia and preferably have a connection to adoption, foster care, or kinship care. C.A.S.E. is governed by a 19-member volunteer board which meets 6 times per year to uphold the strategic vision, mission, and values of the organization. Members serve three-year terms, participate on one committee (Development, Finance, Governance), and contribute (or secure donations) of at least $1,5000/year. C.A.S.E. seeks to increase the diversity of our board and we are particularly interested in candidates who live or work in Virginia with expertise in fundraising, public relations, healthcare / social services operations and management, or IT / data management.

 Emerging Leaders Advisory Council

Candidates must be adopted, live or work in Washington, D.C., Maryland, or Virginia, and be younger than 40 years old. Members meet at least six times per year with a liaison to the C.A.S.E. board and frequently the CEO, to provide advice and recommendations to the board and management team. Members work to raise C.A.S.E.’s profile locally and nationally and participate in fundraising, writing for social media, events, and webinars.

 Gala & Silent Auction Committee

Members work with C.A.S.E.’s Development Coordinator to support our gala and silent auction co-chairs and help prepare for and volunteer at the event, assisting with set-up and registration. Members also help solicit sponsorships, write descriptions, photograph, and prepare items for the silent auction.

Thank You!
