SUPPORT GROUP FOR NOVA FAMILIES: Adolescent Identity 6-week support group, grades 10-12

REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED. Calling all parents of teen adoptees in Northern Virginia! Registration is now open for this FREE teen identity 6-week support group, moderated by C.A.S.E. adoption-competent therapists. Adolescence is a tumultuous time in one’s development. Being adopted adds another layer of complexity. C.A.S.E. is pleased to offer a six-week group for teen adoptees in grades 10-12 who reside in Northern Virginia to focus on promoting identification with other adopted teens, providing a safe space to share feelings and thoughts about their adoption experience and supporting their exploration of identity.
This group will meet virtually on Saturdays from 10am – 11:30 am EST. A secure Zoom link will be provided in your confirmation email.

WHO
Teens in grades 10-12 who have been adopted and who reside in Northern Virginia are invited to participate. This group will be capped at 10 participants.
WHERE
This new virtual group for teen adoptees will meet online using the secure, interactive Zoom Platform where each registered teen will be able to interact and see each other. All that’s needed is a web cam, access to the internet and a quiet space. Once registered, the parent will receive a confirmation email with a link to access the virtual group and easy instructions for joining. The same link will be used to enter the group each week.
