Webinar: Wed., 9/29/2021 | 07:00 – 8:30 PM • Support Group Dates: 10/6, 10/13, 10/20, 10/27, 11/3, 11/10

The task of adolescence is even more challenging for teens who are adopted. For many of them the journey is not easy as they ponder questions surrounding their identity and re-evaluate their relinquishment. Why did they give me up? How can I figure out who I am when I don’t know where I came from? Did my birthfather mean anything to my birthmother? Why did they leave me, what’s wrong with me? Who do I look like??

This free webinar/support group will focus on the specific challenges for adolescent adoptees and strategies for parents to support their teens during these challenging times. Topics include adolescent development, identity formation and the six stuck spots that occur for adolescent adoptees.

Thanks to our partner Jockey Being Family for making this webinar/support group free for our families!
