Adoptive fathers are invited to find common ground with each other as they explore how fathers can help their children heal from past trauma and form secure attachments. Psychoeducation around attachment styles and trauma-based parenting will be discussed and interactive parenting tools will be provided to help guide discussion and provide information to take home to use with your families.

This interactive workshop will meet online using the secure, Zoom Platform. All that’s needed is a web cam, access to the internet and a quiet space. Once registered, the parent will receive a confirmation email with a link to access the virtual group and easy instructions for joining. This workshop is open to adoptive fathers/ male parental figures with finalized adoptions in the Northern Post Adoption Consortium (NPAC) service region.

Our clinical staff will be available to answer any questions about adoption, trauma, or post adoption support.
