This is the 1st of 5 “series” providing caregiver support for post adopt families throughout the state of Maryland.

The series focus will be on the following topics:

• Developing an awareness of parent/child/family needs, values and beliefs
• Understanding the impact of attachment and trauma of children
• But why? Understanding your child and taking care of yourself
• Learning helpful behavioral strategies that work for your children
• Connection through communication
• Healing through attachment
