Are you an Adoptive or Foster Family living in California?

Register now for the Too Many Losses Too Soon Parent Support Group! This 5-week webinar/parent support group will address the unique losses experience by children in foster care and adoption. Parents will learn the factors that influence children’s reactions to loss and the four psychological tasks of grief work. This webinar and support group will increase parent’s understanding of how children experience the ambiguities of foster care/adoption and provide effective ways for parents to assist and support their children that also promote attachment.

Too Many Losses Too Soon Parent Support Group will meet via Zoom on Thursday (Jul. 14th, Jul. 28th, Aug. 4th, Aug. 11th, Aug. 18th) from 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm PST. The group series starts with a webinar on communicative openness followed by 4 parent support group sessions.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

Presenter:

Mari Itzkowitz, LCSW is a licensed clinical social worker and clinical training specialist with C.A.S.E. She is also the former Director of Clinical Services for C.A.S.E. with over 20 years’ experience working in the areas of loss, healing, trauma and adoption.
