Join us Wednesday, August 2nd, at 7 PM on Instagram LIVE! as we welcome Angela Tucker, Executive Director of the Adoptee Mentoring Society, CEO of The Adopted Life, and star of the documentary CLOSURE, as she talks about her poignant memoir “You Should Be Grateful: Stories of Race, Identity and Transracial Adoption.*” A book quoted as being “a deeply personal story that is also a passionate call to rethink the way we manage and talk about adoption in America.”

Angela Tucker is the Executive Director of the Adoptee Mentoring Society, the host of the podcast INNOVATE, where she interviews visionaries who are leading the way in the child welfare system. She is the subject of the documentary, CLOSURE, which chronicles her search for her biological family. As the CEO of The Adopted Life, Tucker hosts The Adoptee Next Door podcast, produces short educational films about adoption and offers regular consulting for media, agencies and families. Tucker earned a BA in Psychology from Seattle Pacific University and lives in Seattle with her husband.
