The Villages of Indiana began its relationship with C.A.S.E. in 2014 when two staff members were trained in the TAC [Training for Adoption Competency] curriculum. Since that date, the Villages has trained 60 child welfare workers, mental health therapists, and other members of the adoption community in the [C.A.S.E.] TAC curriculum. We now have five TAC trainers and offer the TAC training statewide. In 2016 we were able to have 14 staff members trained in the [C.A.S.E.] W.I.S.E. Up! program that allows us to assist children and families in thoughtfully responding to questions about their adoption. Thank you, C.A.S.E., for the support and guidance you have provided to the Villages and the state of Indiana in our efforts to make Indiana more adoption competent in the services being provided to our adoptive families.
