C.A.S.E. Partnerships 2017

Partner with individuals, corporations and leading organizations to strengthen the well-being of adoptive and foster families

Jockey Being Family of Jockey International, Inc.

  • 2,082 adoptive families received C.A.S.E. publications through the Jockey Being Family Backpack Program
  • 2,959 families and professionals, (a 50% increase from 2016), registered for C.A.S.E. live stream monthly webinars across 44 states and 6 countries
  • 34 clinicians graduated from TAC through the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Helen Bader School of Social Welfare

 

Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption

  • 249 adoptive parents and children enjoyed the C.A.S.E. Kids’ Adoption Network (KAN) Conference in November
  • 27 children in foster care in Maryland were supported by 2 Wendy’s Wonderful Kids recruiters on C.A.S.E. staff with 4 adoptions and 6 matches with forever families
  • Supported analysis to prepare TAC for certification through the Institute for Credentialing Excellence

Spaulding Partnership Projects

Funded by the Children’s Bureau with ChildTrauma Academy, National Council for Adoption, North American Council on Adoptable Children, and the University of Washington

  • 61 core competencies defined by the partners to develop training to help parents better support teens who have been exposed to trauma, as part of the Critical Ongoing Resource Family Education (CORE: Teen) project
  • Newly funded in 2017, a program to develop, test, and evaluate the National Training and Development Curriculum (NTDC) for Foster and Adoptive Parents was launched to be piloted in up to 8 sites
