In 2020, the Center for Adoption Support and Education (C.A.S.E.) developed a new Emerging Leaders Advisory Council made up of young adult adoptees. We are passionate about supporting C.A.S.E.’s mission of improving the lives of children who have been adopted or are in foster care and their families through counseling, lifelong education, and a growing national network of trained professionals.
The Emerging Leaders work closely with the C.A.S.E. Board of Directors and staff to enhance the organization’s local and national presence in the adoption, foster and kinship care communities.
They offer advice and recommendations to the organization, while also participating in public speaking, advocacy, and special fundraising events. While the council members are dedicated to their current role at C.A.S.E., they work with the intent to eventually assume leadership roles within the organization.
