C.A.S.E. is thrilled to welcome Children’s Home Society of Washington to the Training for Adoption Competency (TAC) family, making this agency the 18th TAC site across 16 states. Each time a new TAC site opens, more adoptive and foster families are able to access highly trained, adoption-competent mental health professionals close to home.
A few words from the leadership team from Children’s Home Society of Washington State:
“An adoption provider at our inception in 1896, Children’s Home Society of Washington has transformed into a nationally-known child and family service leader. We believe that everyone benefits when we support children and their families. Just as a house needs certain materials to be sturdy and strong, children also need many supports and opportunities to succeed. Children’s Home Society of Washington establishes a solid foundation for today’s children that will lead to prosperity for all of us in the future.
We are honored to offer the Training for Adoption Competency (TAC) in Washington state as it builds on our legacy in serving adopted children. We know adopted children and their families greatly benefit from having more trained professionals who understand their complex needs. By offering this opportunity to behavioral health professionals, we hope to create loving, nurturing and permanent homes for adopted children so they can succeed in school and later in life.”
