Deborah Sanders, LCSW earned her Master’s in Social Work from George Mason University after two decades in a different career. Being an adoptive mother herself and having an extended family with generations of adopted members, Deborah understands the complex needs of adoptive families and the potential for misdiagnosis by professionals who do not look through the lens of adoption. Deborah continually seeks out specialized post-graduate training in clinical modalities that address trauma and attachment issues from a developmental perspective. Deborah works with children of all ages and their parents or guardians.
